Katie grew up in California’s Bay Area and now lives in southwest Washington, about 30 minutes from Portland, Oregon. She and her husband landed there eight years ago and fell for the Washington vibe, especially the wineries.
Wine is a bit of a theme with Katie. She worked part time at a winery for about eight years, and she jokes that living in the Pacific Northwest just means tasting her way through different wine regions.
When she has time off, she likes to bring the family along: her 6-year-old son, her 2½-year-old daughter and her husband. The ideal trip involves a winery with a big field where the kids can run and play.
As for how she uses KashKick herself, her favorite way to earn is referrals.
