Meet one of KashKick’s earliest technical hires, Senior Software Engineer Anton Kulyk.
Anton has been with the company since the early days, helping to build and shape the technology behind the product you use today. By the time KashKick had grown into a platform used by millions of members, his fingerprints were all over it.
When KashKick hit a key moment in its growth, it was Anton who identified the problem. The underlying structure had limitations that were quietly affecting its stability, security and ability to scale. A quick fix wasn’t going to cut it. So he proposed something bigger: a full redesign of how the system was built, from the ground up, to create a stronger foundation for everything that would come next.
The result? A cleaner, more organized system that was easier to build on and more reliable for members.
But Anton’s work didn’t stop there.
As KashKick’s engineering team grew, he introduced tools and processes that helped everyone collaborate more smoothly. Changes were now tracked and easier to maintain (the kind of behind-the-scenes work that isn’t always visible to members, but ultimately allows everything to run better).
Anton also helped reorganize the system’s internal structure so that different parts could be updated and improved independently, without risking disruption elsewhere. This made the codebase easier to manage and security controls stronger.
The impact was felt with notably faster updates, more reliable performance and a product better equipped to handle growth. It also made it possible for KashKick to expand its engineering team, build out the mobile app and grow without things getting unwieldy along the way.
The framework Anton helped build went on to power KashKick’s continued growth, contributing to a better experience for every member.
